Latest PTA Newsletters

PTA @ Kerikeri Primary School is a vibrant group of people who want to be involved with the school and support the staff and pupils.

We meet approximately monthly on a Monday night at 7pm and welcome all parents / caregivers to come along to our meetings. All meetings are advertised in the  school newsletter.

Over the years the PTA have done a lot of fund raising and enabled the school to have a lot of those ‘extras’ that the children may not always be able to have. The gala which is held the first Sunday in November is our main fundraiser and involves everyone in the school. It takes a lot of organizing but we share the work load and it is a fun day for both the school families and the community.

We pay for the blue sun hats that the children wear at school, heavily involved in improving the junior playground by making it bigger and more interesting for the younger children.

Skipping ropes, pencils, balls, cross country and netball tee shirts and many other things have been paid for by the PTA, as are shows & plays that come to the school. We gave out ‘juicies’ at the latest junior and senior cross country and that went down a treat with the children. We do try and organize a junior and senior disco every year with lighting and great music and the children love it!!
